@synbad, was just that i found it amusing that they were mentioned with the camera and microsim, just found it weird to highlight it.

I think the six-axis will be the best new feature, especially for games. Also the processor is the same that powers the ipad so i imagine it will be mightily fast on the iphone, though with a smaller battery will be interesting to see drain.
Apple know what they are doing and this will be another massive seller until the Iphone 4.1 in 6 months time.

@Stephen Why do you list volume buttons as a feature when they've been on the device for years?

I've had a front facing camera for about 5 years too, and never used it. Who seriously wants to video calls? I doubt many people would so Apple were not really missing much here, they're one of these features people demand but few use.

The gyro will no doubt get plenty use from app developers, the screen looks stunning, thankfully they've focused on camera quality rather than partaking in the utterly pointless Megapixel game, the design sets them apart once again and iOS looks cracking. Android even with Sense UI always feels like the ugly sister willing to get dirty because she's not quite as refined.

I've used plenty smartphones but I don't own one myself, none have ever interested me enough to hand my money over. iPhone 4 is probably the first one to interest me.

Does the multitasking mean I'll be able to play Paper Toss AND listen to music?

Suppose the big question is, when is iPhone 5 out? I may wait

As for Flash and Apple, you have to wonder if it will ever happen, it probably won't - reckon HTML5 and jQuery are the future so far as this sort of functionality is concerned: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/

Its a nice list of features, however some basic ones that have been around for many years, i've had front facing cameras for 5 years, cameras with flashes for at least 8 years, volume buttons, multi tasking, once again apple bring in standard features and use the 'Steve Jobs apple polish, the guy could sell a turd to the world' to make it sound great, and give the belief the iphone is the best available.
This phone is what the original iphone should have been.
Aesthetically it does look very nice, and no doubt it will be a good phone, the screen resolution is fantastic, though glass on both sides could turn it into a finger print magnet.
The big selling point for the phone will be the apps, however i feel people, developers and industry are far to into the iphone hype and ignore other platforms, like Android whose app market is growing at a quicker pace than Apples.
The Iphone 4 will be a game changer but I don't think it will be scoring the winner in the game.
Once again the Apple marketing machine has shone and shown why it is possibly the best in the world.
