We did it! Manchester to Blackpool bike ride for Jo’s Trust

Well, we all finished the Manchester to Blackpool ride, and what a ride it was. We all got caught in a down poor somewhere near the Euxton area of the world, and it got a little bit breezy approaching Blackpool but that wasn’t going to slow us down!

Our times (tracked by Endomondo) were as follows:
Lee Turner: 4h:24m:23s (61.33miles)
Martin Downton: 5h:18m:40s (62.31miles)
Scott Green: 3h:50m:04s (60.5miles)

So far we’ve managed to raise £1,351 for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and The Christiewhich is amazing, a massive thank you to everyone who has sponsored us, it is very much appreciated. We are still collecting donations too if you’d still like to sponsor us, simply visit http://www.justgiving.com/manchester-to-blackpool-2011 to make a donation, thank you.

Here’s a map of our route and a few photos from the day – sadly we didn’t get any crossing the finish line because we were all too fast and arrived before our designated photo-takers did!

March’s Formula 1 desktop calendar

I’ve decided to do 2 versions of our calendar this time, 1 version with March’s calendar on (as you’d expect), and the other without, so you can choose whether you want the calendar as your wallpaper, or just a funky desktop for during the F1 2011 season. I’ve also numbered all of the tracks and included race dates and locations – minus Bahrain of course!
