Its more like OpenID, in the fact that you can have a single login you can use to post comments on numerous websites.

OpenID is similar but it does the same with website user accounts, not just comments. So with openID you can have one username and password you can use to log into numerous websites.

Hey, I just joined Disqus and I don't even know what it is yet :)

Is it better to have a blog that people can use Disqus to comment on posts or the standard 'enter email, enter name, comment, send' method would you say? I guess more people would see your comment's and what you've commented on this way wouldn't they?

So the more comments I write on this post the more people using Disqus will see this post?

I think it's a quality idea that gives the site some scope to grow. These sites need to have options open for plenty of new content and having the awesome thing move around means we'll have plenty of new pictures. I like the idea of it changing as it goes, I think it would be cool if we could get other people on board to change and add to it, like a mass participation art project.

It reminds me a little bit of the one red paperclip blog, did you ever see it?
