A voodoo doll sacrifices his own life to save his friends

A decent storyline, great animation and attention to detail, but I’m not sure if the dolls die well enough. I remember spending my days killing and torturing dolls and stuffed animals before I got a day job and it was always much more dramatic than this film makes out. I mean, I could almost feel Teddy Ruxpin’s pain and see the fear in his disjointed eyeball as I severed his leg at the kneecap with a rusty hacksaw but this film just doesn’t seem to get the pain across that I saw in Ruxpin’s eyeball that day.

Plus, dolls don’t have a skeletal system so how come he’s still kneeling up straight when he dies at the end? Surely his head would be flopped in his crotch!
