Gadgetepoint
Brief:
Gadgetepoint approached Fluid with the aim of launching an online store stocking a variety of novelty gifts and you guessed it, gadgets. Starting from scratch, they needed a fully functioning online solution.
Results:
Our favourite feature is the moving navigation tab on the left. The shop launched in 2007 and has enjoyed steady growth and healthy online sales with user traffic increasing month on month at a steady rate.
Brand Neusense
Brief:
Brand Neusense was launched as an online clothing retailer stocking streetwear brands such as Bench, Superdry, Henleys and Addict. The aim was to create a highly visible online brand appealing to the demographic who would search out these clothes on the high street.
Results:
Coupled with a highly detailed ethical seo campaign the site enjoyed huge success from launch becoming a leading online retailer for the brands it sold due to excellent positioning in natural search and a streamlined transaction process. The site picked up several awards including an accessibility award at the Big Chip Awards in 2006, before a majority share was sold to an outside investor.
Froghair
Brief:
To promote and sell their own line of cheeky and youthful golf attire Froghair wanted a full e-commerce solution that would look great and take their sales to the next level.
Results:
The Froghair website dramatically increased the profile of the brand and gave the company a new revenue stream by allowing them to sell directly to the consumer outside of consessions in high street chains.
Demon Plates
Brief:
Demon Plates make registration plates, they wanted a solution that allowed their users to design registration plates inside the browser then have those designs forwarded instantly on to them ready for manufacturing.
Results:
Implemented in Javascript the solution for displaying unique registration plates places no load on the server. Users can instantly see how their registstration plates will look, they can insert badges, change the plate shape, change the plate colour and insert borders all instantly. The end design can then be bought instantly. Plenty of fun for all involved.
Bohle convex mirror systems:
Brief:
Bohle are an international company offering speciality mirrors. The website needed to follow strict brand guidelines and look fresh and professional. It also needed to have a strong use of colour and layout with an easy to use interface
Results:
We created a fresh website, utilising motion graphics on the homepage and an easy to use dual navigation system. We stepped away from the conventional and designed a new basket area and used creative photography throughout.
Diamond Kingdom
Brief:
We were comissioned to create a full brand and website for Diamond Kingdom. The client wanted the website to ooze luxury and style with large promotional areas, stunning lifestyle shots and beautifuly displayed products.
Result:
We suggested a neutral pallet with high impact photography, the result lifted the colours and really had an impact on the eye where it mattered. The functionality of the site allows users to fully customise diamond rings giving a true bespoke piece of jewellery.
Fires and Fireplaces Direct
Brief:
We were comissioned to create a full brand and e-commerce website for Fires and Fireplaces Direct and given full creative licence to steer the brand in the right direction.
Results:
We created a strong brand which echoed throughout the website. With a fresh and clean layout we used a warm pallet and implemented a solution allowing users to fully customise when buying their fireplace.
Fish Fanatics
Brief:
With a high quality natural product, the owners of fish fanatics knew they needed the right angle (if you’ll excuse the pun) to deliver their produce to the consumer.
Results:
Fluid Creativity implemented a full e-commerce solution allowing them to sell direct to their customers and manage orders online as well as create a great platform to raise the profile of their brand.
After launching the site back in 2006 Fish Fanatics have enjoyed great success with steady growth. Fluid Creativity have continued to work with Fish Fanatics, implementing new ideas in both functionality and design, as well as a targeted natural search campaign. The site design was awarded “Best e-commerce project” at the Big Chip Awards in 2007 due to it’s effective use of accessible design.
Lazerian
Brief:
Lazerian is the venture of a contemporary furniture designer with the emphasis on playful investigation and skewed usage of materials. It was paramount that when the brand was taken to the web as an e-commerce project none of the charisma was lost and the Lazerian personality was conveyed. It was important site put the products at the forefront but acted more like an art gallery than a typical shop-window ecommerce site, allowing the client to not only sell products via the site but to also use it as a portfolio to show creations that are one-offs, workshop experiments, or not for sale items alongside the main range.
Result:
The difficult challenge of combining an e-commerce solution with an art gallery and portfolio was met well. Fluid Creativity implemented a unique scrolling shop gallery window allowing end users to browse through the products displayed in a unique real world enviroment. The combination of e-commerce functionality, high end design and scrolling interaction makes this shop a very interesting web destination.
